Welcome to Orlando Alternative Health in Orlando, FL, where we specialize in treating athletes, military veterans (ask how the Veterans Affairs may pay for your treatment), back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, fibromyalgia, and macular degeneration using acupuncture, herbal therapy, dry needling and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We offer researched based solutions to many health problems. Our acupuncture clinic is located in Winter Park, FL, near downtown Orlando, for easy access to SR 408 and I-4.

Jon Kukor, L.Ac. is a licensed board certified Acupuncture Physician, practicing in Orlando, FL. He graduated from Florida College of Integrative Medicine with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine, and a Bachelor’s in Professional Health Studies in 2012.  In 2021 he began a doctoral program at Five Branches University.

Jon is continuously studying to learn from leaders in the field. He is certified in Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars, which is the premier Dry Needling certification in the world. Jon studied under Jan Dommerholt of Myopain Seminars, who introduced dry needling to the United States He’s taken many Medical Acupuncture classes from Anthony Lombardi, and utilizes the highly effective EXSTORE system for assessment of patients.

Additionally he studied under Andy Rosenfarb, who specializes in acupuncture for vision problems (such as macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa), and is certified in the Micro Acupuncture 48 system (MA48). He has seen patients as young as 9, and as young as 95. Jon continues to study under Clayton Shiu, who extensively studied with Dr. Shi Xue Min, the pioneer of modern acupuncture stroke treatment.

Jon believes in treating the individual patient, in a holistic manner. Patients are evaluated on a case by case basis to provide highly effective treatments. He utilizes various types of acupuncture, dry needling, herbal therapy and soft tissue work in his practice.  He has clinical experience in treating a variety of ailments from stress, anxiety and headaches, to fibromyalgia, back pain, joint pain, and many others. Additionally Jon spent months volunteering for a clinic to help deal with the tragedy at Pulse nightclub.

He has successfully worked with many military veterans too, and is credentialed as a provider through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
